Advocate utilizes a unique mode of action to combat parasites. It contains two key active ingredients: imidacloprid and moxidectin. Imidacloprid targets fleas' nervous systems, killing them rapidly upon contact and preventing their reproduction by stopping the development of flea eggs. It also eliminates flea larvae found in the pet's surroundings, breaking the flea life cycle. Moxidectin, on the other hand, acts against heartworm larvae, effectively preventing heartworm disease. It also targets and controls various intestinal worms by paralyzing and eliminating them. Additionally, Advocate effectively treats and controls dogs' ear mites and sarcoptic mange.
